ceremonies Gol Norway 24 - 7

So today I told Birgit, the organizer here in Gol, I wanted to do a pipe ceremony. She understood me right in a wrong way, or wrong in a right way. Anyhow she thought I was talking about the bagpipe. So eventualy we had two beautiful ceremonies. Although the situation is very sad. The first ceremony was in the stafkirkje of Gol. The priest of Gol opent and closed the prayers and ceremony. Before I blew the horn in a last post kind-a- way around the kirke in the four directions. We played some old melodies on harp, mouthharp, Native american flute and bagpipes and drums. And everybody lighted a candle. There were about 40 people. An hour later we had a pipe ceremony with about twelve people. This really felt good. The connection was strong. Thank you everybody for your prayers. We send light, hope, love and peace to the families and relations and pray for many good things...forgiveness...Love you all... Philip and love from Theresia
